Thurs 09-06-07 Part 2

Here is a picture of a friend's daughter who was highlighted on the cruise. Turns out that Clayton AKA "Hollywood" happened to personally mention to Susan Egan (the original Belle on Broadway - Beauty and the Beast) that this little girl was her #1 fan. I thought that was so special that I had to jump the line and take a picture. Julie, Hollywood must of surprised your DD to death but Susan was her usual elegant self. I cannot say enough about this woman. She is the opitome of what a Classic, Elegant Star should be.


Well, I'm getting closer - maybe next time I can find Julie and her oldest daughter. ROTFL. See Julie - your getting closer!

Thurs 09-06-07

Hi Everybody - haven't been ignoring anyone. Just haven't had time to unload. As I may have mentioned on DIS - Steve and I will be taking a mini-mini-vacation over the weekend to Vegas. And who knows - since I am still in a good mood - I may even decide to play 21. Turns outs he wasn't even mad at my "attending" Ducky's art auction where ahem......I managed to come out a winner. Turns out that Steve also was a winner (again) at his poker tournament. He went to the Bicycle Casino and entered a poker tournament and while he didn't win the top prize he came away with $4G, a nice jacket, a BRIGHT yellow "Legends of Poker" from there and last but not least - a basketball. And just to play with his mind, I mentioned that there was some scribbling on this basketball was it ok to clean it off. If you have never seen a man move so fast - he cleared the living room and bedroom in 2.0 seconds flat! ROTFL. Reason? The ball had been signed by some guy named......what was his name again?

Oh yes - Kurt Rambis......or something like that. I don't follow BB. Now had it been James Woods now, I wouldn't have played with his mind. Turns out when I wanted his autograph he was too shy but I guess Kurt is another story. LOL Must be a man thing.

OK - since DIS is down - I wanted to post a quick picture of me and some friends. Enjoy!

Postscript: And yes - before anyone asks - this is the actual bed used in Disney Dreams. I attended the backstage tour that they had and was finally able to corral someone into sitting on the bed - with permission of course. I don't always do things illegally. LOL - anyway, I was the first to pick up Sebastion and hold him. he was cute! However, I did not have the nerve to actually get into the bed but sitting and holding him was enough for me! Such a rebel I am!

Sat 09/01/07 Part 3

OK -the first shot is of Steve, April and Myself at Avignon - DCL Excursion to Palace of the Popes. The second one is of all of us - April, Megan, Steve and myself at the base of the Leaning Tower. That was awesome! Very crowded although the picture is again deceiving. And the last one is of St. Peter's Square.

Sat 09/01/07 Part 2

OK - looks like better late than never - this should have gone to my post on Rome but am having trouble accessing that post so here it is. This is the Sistene Chapel. And yes - Laura was very bad. I took the pictures although it was posted no pictures. No flash but in my behalf, the guard was not stopping anyone he only cared about the quietness and after hearing tons of cameras going off decided to risk taking the pictures in this once in a lifetime opportunity. Turns out I did a good thing. Ran into some peopleon the repo that were NOT allowed to take pictures. Said the guards in the Sistene Chapel (I just love saying that!!!) :-) did not allow pictures and were constantly "yelling" (anyone see the irony here) to be quiet.

OK if I get the hang of it I will be posting more later.

WOW! That looks weird! I just wanted to say - wait - isn't this August? LOL I sorta feel jipped out of August. OK so I don't really.

Just wanted to post a quick note to let everyone know that I didn't fall off the face of the earth. The bandwith on the Magic was horrendously slow and took over 20 minutes just to open a page. So I didn't even bother.

I know that I am way far behind, a lot has happened and so I will be doing a major catchup slowly but surely. But here is the here and now.

I just got off the Magic this morning, I debarked at about 7:30 with my cruising buddies, Ken, Christie and Pam. Pam left on her flight to TN and Ken, Christie and I took a rental to Old Key West which I am staying in with the family. They flew out on a red-eye and arrived at 6 am. They checked into a 1 bedroom villa in Old Key West where they are currently sleeping away. The place is HUGE and Fantastic so far but they are still asleep. I debated going shopping but decided that I would take it easy today and have been going back and forth on taking a nap. If I fall asleep now - I will throw what I have slowly been cultivating over the last minth away. So for now - I am updating here.

I am trying to figure out why I can't post a picture. So if you bear with me - I will eventually learn. Lots to talk about and lots to dish about especially about the STUPID INFANTILE way that some "GROWN-UPS" behaved (and I do use the term grown-ups loosely) on this repo cruise. I have NEVER, NEVER, NEVER been made to feel so unwanted step-child-like like I did on the repo - however, that being said - I had a blast. More details later - just had to post this and to forewarn those that more is coming.

Oh yeah - got to meet Capt Jack. Both on the ship and the EB thread one. "Our's" is better of course and seems to be a blast. I can't wait until the EB PC. ROTFL! BTW, the Magic had a disclaimer on the board saying that BOTH of the PC '08 cruises were currently sold out! Wow - guess I cannnot cancel mine now can I? Seems like the hottest ticket next year will be on the repos! Yippee!
